Every Sunday Never Growing Old will post five get to know you questions that you can copy and paste into your own Monday post and we can all learn a little more about each and every one of us!!
"Its a great way to to meet new friends and for others to get to know me better....one Monday at a time!!!"....as quoted by the Chacogirl!! I will make this SIMPLE and FUN!!!
Since there are so many creative Meet Me On Monday posts, I have decided to use the Random picker to select one winner each week to be featured!
This weeks random winner is:
Donna at "The House on the Corner"
Java will add a linky so we can follow who participates and get to know them better!! Be sure to link the POST and not just your whole blog.
Questions:
1. Do you have a fireplace in your home?
2. Can you drive a stick shift?
3. How many computers are in your home?
4. Are your taxes done yet? Do you do them yourself?
5. What is your favorite meal of the day?
---------------------------------------------------------------
My Answers!
1. Do you have a fireplace in your home?
I do (pictured below) but we never use it! I couldn't wait to have a house with one in it and we've been here for 18 years and have only used it a couple of times. It is gas not wood which is even easier to use!
2. Can you drive a stick shift?
I can not! I have never even tried it because all of our cars have always been automatic.
I embarrassed to say 6! We each have a laptop and then there is one in the office.
4. Are your taxes done yet? Do you do them yourself?
Ugh! I do them myself...always have and started them but have yet to finish them! I did Venti & Mocha's last weekend and now I really need to get ours done!
5. What is your favorite meal of the day?
I LOVE lunch! It is my favorite meal of the day! I think about what I'm having while I'm eating breakfast which would be my second choice!

Time to link up and meet!!
This is a blog hop so if you want to put the linky on your post just click the "Get the Code" at the bottom of the linky.

If you would like to add the linky to your own post, use the code below to copy and paste into your blog:
Your link MUST include your Meet Me On Monday post or it will be deleted! You cannot link up until your post is complete and posted!
I have had SEVERAL people link their whole blog and not just the post and it take a lot of time to go in and correct these so PLEASE link your Meet Me On Monday post! You know who you are!!

eventually we may be a 6 computer household... right now hubby, the 12 year old and I each have a laptop of our own, but I want to upgrade mine and give this one to the 4 year old (and eventually the baby) ... I can see us eventually getting a desktop and plugging 5 laptops in too..
ReplyDeleteLove your fireplace, Java!

ReplyDeleteHouse on the Corner is one of my favorite blogs! Yea for Donna! Whoever built your fireplace must have also built mine--they look to be identical, even down to the brick color. Thanks for hosting!

ReplyDeleteYour fireplace is beautiful!
So glad to have found you. Hope to make a lot of new friends.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you featured Donna. She's a great lady!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the fireplace screen!
ReplyDeleteWish ours was gas. We'd have to get a bottle if we wanted to convert ours. Not worth it. And they're unsightly, not that it matters in my part of the area, but I don't want to look at them.
Manual or stick shift driving is easy. I know you could do it!
Playing along this Meet Me On Monday blog hop. Java...you've gotta learn how to drive a stick, you'll just love it! I was totally surprised at how much I liked it, really. Hope to see you at my place today! Have an awesome Monday, Ladies!

Dear Java,
ReplyDeleteYou've GOT to put that beautiful fireplace to use!
In my last home, we had two fireplaces. We never lit them, BUT we used to buy these big, thick, white candles and fill the fireplace with them (they were thick enough that they could stand on their own without support and be safe). When you lit them, they gave the room the most BEAUTIFUL effect! It was so lovely and romantic - perhaps you could give that a try!
Have a great week!

Sorry I didn't make it Monday but I was praying I could afford my Wisdom teeth operation over the weekend as my head was in pain. I've worked something out with the dentist, paid my bill, got my drugs and should be ready for the next one.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
