What you might not know is that if you don't have the correct setting for your Google Friend Connect, then others won't be able to find your blog if they click on your profile!
To make sure this doesn't happen, check your settings:
After you follow a new blog, click on yourself in the Google Friend Connect box.
Click on SETTINGS
Let me know if you have any questions!!
Thanks for the heads up on that one.
ReplyDeletewill check in future.

Somehow I must have done that by accident in my old life since it was already done.
ReplyDeleteThis is so helpful! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteWonderful blog btw x jeanie
Thanks! That was so helpful! I had moved my blog from Blogger to WordPress awhile back and for some reason it will never allow me to comment with my WordPress ID--says I have illegal characters. So I am trying to redo my Google link so that it goes to my new blog. This was really helpful! Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteWow... I must have been ahead of myself (a rarity) as I had already done this... Thanks for the info! Now, if we can figure out why Firefox and Google Chrome users can't 'comment' on my blog that would be just wonderful..
ReplyDeleteThanks! That helps a lot. I've wondered why I couldn't find some people's blogs on their profile, but I could find others.
ReplyDeleteI'll go and check mine now.
Thanks Java. My blog was listed, but my website wasn't. Got that added to my profile now. Would like to get a little foot traffic to my website to show off my children's book. Perhaps your readers would be interested. I need this to spread through the grapevine. Hint-hint! =D
ReplyDeleteI'll be sure to link this post on my site as a reminder for some and an tip to others. Happy blogging!
Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteI did not know that.
Apparently a lot of people don't know that.
Great info!!
I've checked mine at several sites and they all have a link. I suspect there may also be a setting on blogger that does this automatically because I know I've never done this when I follow someone.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info ...
Okay, I must be doing something wrong. I don't get the add links button when I click on settings. Help!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this info; I was not aware of this.
ReplyDeleteI have my blogs from blogger listed, but now I was able to add my Wordpress blog to it. Thanks for the great info.
ReplyDeleteI checked and I'm good to go.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kat
AHA! That answers why someone asked which of my blogs to follow! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThank you Java. You always give the best info.
ReplyDeleteWell, now you know what? I have been blogging for about two years off and on and didn't know that!
ReplyDeleteI love to learn something new everyday!
This is news to me. I have a lot of repairs to make!
ReplyDeleteI'll check mine now. Thanks!
ReplyDeletewow! glad i found you. this was helpful in two ways. i have been looking like crazy on how to edit the info "about me" that shows up when someone clicks on my logo on google friend connect. well you showed me how to do that under settings.
ReplyDeletethank you!!!
