House Hunting!

Joe and I have been house hunting! We are looking to downsize and save money as we are house poor! Most of our paychecks go towards our mortgage and we are tired of worrying about where the next dollar will come from. We looked at this beautiful townhouse last week and gave an offer but the sellers aren't willing to budge a penny and so we probably won't get that one. If we did get it, we would save $1000 a month!! I can't even imagine how nice it would be to not worry about money all the time! Here are some picture of it. I'm crossing my fingers that they accept our offer!

I'll keep you posted if we get it or not!

  1. Before we bought this house we made an offer on another one. Those sellers also would not budge or even respond to our offer. (RUDE!) In the end we bought another house and the sellers ended up selling their house of over $10, 000 less than the offer we made them. (I can't say it didn't make me smile just a little.)
it is tough selling a house right now so I hope your seller changes their minds because that hot tub is amazing!

  2. Absolutely gorgeous! We downsized our mortgage when we moved back to Tn. It's nice not putting all your $ into a house payment. Fingers crossed!

  14. Wow, that townhouse is absolutely beautiful. My fiance are currently looking at smaller houses. The Hawaii real estate company has been very helpful and patient. The first few houses that we put an offer on wouldn't budge either. I hope we find something soon. Good luck, I really hope you guys get the house!

  16. Any updates on the house? I do hope that you got this one! The place looks marvelous and roomy. But what caught my eye is the jacuzzi in the backyard. I can imagine relaxing in that tub after a hard day at work. [Javier Bonnell]
