Summertime!!!!

Joe and I are heading to the beach with some friends on Friday...no kids!  I won't know how to act!  I just hope the house is in one piece when we get home!

Venti and Mocha drove straight from Chicago and arrived home yesterday afternoon!  They are coming over tonight and I can't wait to see them!  It has been a long 4 months!  I will take pictures!  Their Great Dane is supposed to be huge so I can't wait to see him either.  He was big 4 months ago so I can't imagine what he looks like now!

I'm sure you have all noticed that I haven't done any of the hops lately.  I have decided to wait until the Fall to start them again.  I noticed a lot of people not "hopping" on and found out that with everyone traveling and doing their summer things that blogging gets put on the way side.  No worries!  We can start again in September.  Until then I will post things about me!  Or the boys...or Joe...or the cats....hehe...I promise to post more after this weekend (the beach)...things should slow down then!

Hope everyone is doing well.  I am creeping on your blogs and catching up on what everyone's been up too!  I may not comment...but I am reading!

    So glad you are enjoying your summer!!! That is what it is all about!! Have loved being part of your hops but totally understand how time consuming they must be!! I have met a lot of great bloggers through them and am happy about that!!! Thanks again and enjoy some great family time!!!

    Enjoy your kid-free beach trip! I won't tell you what happened to us when we tried that...other than to say we came home to mess! It's funny now, but it wasn't when we still had teenagers at home.

    Will be looking forward to fall, and your resuming the blog hops. I, too, have met lots of friends through them.

    I recently found your blog and I LOVE the theme. How awesome that you started a modeling career at the age of 40, very inspiring! Personally I think that over 40 is where women really start to "come into their own" so to speak. To me, it's when life really starts to get interesting.

    My first thought when reading your summer comment was that it is winter here in the Southern Hemisphere - but then again I am off to the tropics in a few days. :)

    Its tough getting back to the old routine when there is so much to do. Like sitting on the beach getting a tan,relaxing by the pool, and hanging out with your kids. This is so much better that work.
